A mediocre teacher merely narrates; a good teacher explains; an outstanding teacher demonstrates; and a great teacher inspires. Professors from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, China Agricultural University, Zhejiang University, the Sichuan Provincial Party School, Tencent, and Sichuan Securities spoke in plain, accessible language, presented easy-to-understand cases, and engaged in relaxed and enjoyable conversations. Their every word and action silently guided, inspired, and guided us to integrate knowledge and action, and to achieve far-sightedness. New Hope Group Chairman Liu Yonghao noted that rural revitalization requires both talent and hard work. "A new era brings new impetus. We must leverage talent to drive revitalization and pursue development through hard work."
The experience of Guoyuan Village tells us that building a beautiful countryside requires both village beauty as a means and people's prosperity as the key. The core is to develop industries and increase people's incomes and enrich themselves. Without significant industrial development, there can be no significant improvement in living standards and quality of life. The foundation for a beautiful countryside will be lacking, and it will be difficult to achieve the goals of convenient public services, improved village appearance, and a prosperous and harmonious life. Only by prioritizing the improvement of people's incomes, unremittingly strengthening agricultural restructuring, and focusing on cultivating modern, people-enriching industries can we inject strong momentum into rural revitalization.
Through a week of study, we not only gained an in-depth understanding of the national rural revitalization policy background and other major policies, but also visited well-developed demonstration villages for on-site observation and learning. At the same time, we also listened to the specific practices of large groups such as New Hope, Alibaba, and Douyin in rural revitalization. What is even more rare is that we had the opportunity to exchange practical experience and broaden our horizons with one hundred outstanding village cadres from all over the country.
The biggest gain from this week's training was the friendships forged among our eight groups. From the initial acquaintances on the first day to the reluctance to leave on the final day, everyone freely shared their work challenges and suggestions. I also realized that development varies from province to province, and so do community governance approaches.
