On November 2nd, the "People's Finance Forum · 2025 Entrepreneurs Conference," hosted by People's Daily Online, was held in Beijing. At the conference, Liu Yonghao, Chairman of New Hope Group, shared his insights from years of deep involvement in the real economy. He focused on the development of private enterprises, the cultivation of new productive forces, and the fulfillment of social responsibility, elaborating on the "Three Nos and Three Musts" principle, conveying the firm belief of private entrepreneurs in being rooted in the times and forging ahead with courage.
Policy support injects a strong boost into private enterprises. Liu Yonghao believes that the country's attention and support for private enterprises has never wavered. From the inclusion of "two unwavering commitments" in the Private Economy Promotion Law, making equal protection a long-term mechanism, to the emphasis on private enterprise participation in the "15th Five-Year Plan" proposal, these policy signals have reassured entrepreneurs and become the most solid support for their development.
Faced with the challenges of transforming traditional industries, Liu Yonghao proposed the "Three Nos and Three Musts" principle. The "Three Nos" refer to not being anxious, not giving up, and not being afraid of difficulties. He believes that industry cycle fluctuations and development pain points are always objective realities, and only by facing difficulties head-on can breakthroughs be achieved. The "Three Musts" refer to having confidence, striving, and transforming. Confidence stems from policy support and market potential; striving requires abandoning traditional paths; and transformation must be centered on new-quality productivity.
Regarding cultivating new-quality productivity, Liu Yonghao shared that the key to upgrading traditional industries lies in technological empowerment. New-quality productivity is not an abstract concept, but a concrete practice that makes industries more efficient, consumers more beneficial, and practitioners more fulfilled.
Regarding social responsibility, Liu Yonghao believes that the responsibility of private entrepreneurs is reflected in being rooted in the land and giving back to society. In the process of rural revitalization, private enterprises should not only bring technology and advanced concepts, but also stimulate the endogenous driving force of rural areas, by cultivating grassroots leaders and empowering new farmers, so that the fruits of development can benefit a wider range of people.
Liu Yonghao called on private entrepreneurs to follow the general trend and the right path, and to contribute their strength to the advancement of China's modernization with firm confidence, a pragmatic spirit and innovative courage.
