On December 23, New Hope Group successfully held its 2025 Senior Professional Title Evaluation Meeting for Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine in Chengdu. New Hope is among the first batch of private enterprises in Sichuan Province to pilot the independent evaluation right for senior professional titles. This event also marks the first time a private enterprise in the province has independently organized a senior professional title evaluation. This signifies a crucial step forward for New Hope in building its professional talent evaluation system and pioneers a new practice for the independent talent evaluation mechanism for private enterprises in Sichuan Province. Leaders from relevant departments including the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Sichuan Provincial Agricultural and Rural Talent Development Service Center, the Sichuan Provincial Association for Science and Technology, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, and the Party Working Committee of Sichuan Tianfu New Area attended and provided guidance. Li Jianxiong, Chairman of the Science and Technology Association of New Hope Group, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Group, experts in related fields, and representatives from other pilot enterprises participated in the meeting.
The meeting consisted of three parts: a launch meeting, a preparatory meeting, and an evaluation meeting. At the launch meeting, leaders from the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security pointed out that New Hope Group, as one of the first private enterprises to receive the delegated authority for professional title evaluation, has proactively explored and established its own professional title evaluation system. This is not only a significant milestone in the company's talent development but also a positive practice for the diversified development of industrial talent evaluation across the province. Regarding the evaluation work, the leaders from the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security offered three suggestions: First, adhere to standards, reflect characteristics, base on industrial practice, highlight performance contributions and competency orientation, and focus on practical results in solving key technologies,成果转化 (technology transfer), food safety, and rural revitalization; second, standardize procedures, ensure fairness, strictly organize according to regulations, and ensure that experts are professional, rigorous, objective, and impartial; third, take a long-term perspective and continuously optimize, using the first evaluation as a starting point to accumulate experience, improve standards and processes, strengthen cross-departmental communication and information technology construction, and create a model for professional title evaluation in private enterprises.
At the meeting, Li Jianxiong, on behalf of the company, reported on New Hope Group's independent evaluation work for associate senior professional titles in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine. He elaborated on the background and significance of this work, and introduced New Hope's situation in terms of technology layout, "dual-engine" strategy, R&D strength, and talent reserves from a strategic to practical perspective. By constructing a closed-loop mechanism of "evaluation-training-application," the company aims to accurately evaluate talent, stimulate innovation, enhance corporate competitiveness, and cultivate a technology-driven culture, thereby better implementing its business policy of "technology-driven, excellent operation."
Finally, the vice chairman of the review committee, on behalf of all review experts, read out the experts' commitment to integrity and confidentiality. A closed-door preparatory meeting for experts was then held. Relevant personnel successively released the review rules, introduced the relevant system operations, reiterated the review work discipline, and formally entered the expert review stage.
It is reported that in November 2024, with the formal approval of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, New Hope became one of the first pilot private enterprises in Sichuan Province to obtain the autonomy to review some professional senior titles, and took the lead in carrying out independent review work. New Hope has long attached great importance to talent system construction and has regarded independent talent training and evaluation as a core strategy for the company's sustainable development. Taking this opportunity, New Hope quickly established a high-standard expert review pool and strictly formulated review procedures to ensure the professionalism, standardization, and credibility of the first batch of associate senior professional title reviews, providing "New Hope" wisdom and experience for companies in the industry to independently conduct talent evaluations.
