In July 2015, the New Hope Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Cooperl Arc Atlantique, leading hog processing enterprise in France. Signature of this agreement was witnessed by Li Keqiang, Premier of the State Council of the P.R.C.

Under this agreement, the New Hope Group (New Hope Liuhe) and Cooperl Arc Atlantique will join forces in pork feed, processing, supply chain and retailing .
