Joseph J.Jen, Former Vice minister of USDA, visted New Hope Group
Dr.JosephJ.Jen, Former Vice minister of USDA, visted New Hope Group on the 13th of July and received a very well welcome from the leadership team including Chairman Liu Yonghao and Chairman Liu Chang from New Hope Liuhe.
Chairman Liu Yonghao expressed his view on the current situation of food safety in China and what New Hope’s strategy to ensure food safety.
Dr.Jen thinks the industry layout is highly forward looking. New hope group has made a great contribution to the country as well as the farmers. It has also set a great example for other companies in terms of food safety.
Dr. Joseph Jen was sworn in as the under secretary for research, education, and economics by Agriculture Secretary Ann. M. Veneman on July 17, 2001. He oversees four agencies of the U.S. Department of Agriculture: the Agricultural Research Service, the Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service, the Economic Research Service, and the National Agricultural Statistics Service.
